Quando chegaram ao fim do passeio, o motorista pediu que pagassem a tarifa.
A Vaca pagou sua parte da tarifa.

driver asked them to
pay their fares. Cow
paid her fare.
O Cachorro pagou um pouco a mais, porque não tinha o valor exato em dinheiro.
Dog paid a bit extra,
because he did not
have the correct money.
Quando o motorista ia dar o troco para o Cachorro, a Cabra saiu correndo sem pagar.

give Dog his change
when Goat ran away
without paying
anything.
O motorista ficou muito irritado. Ele saiu dirigindo sem dar o troco para o Cachorro.

Dog his change.
É por isso, que mesmo hoje, o Cachorro corre atrás dos carros e olha para dentro para encontrar o motorista que lhe deve o troco.
That is why, even
today, Dog runs
towards a car to peep
inside and find the
driver who owes him his
change.
A Cabra sai correndo quando ouve o barulho de um carro.
Ela tem medo de ser presa por não pagar a tarifa do táxi.
Goat runs away from
the sound of a car. She
is afraid she will be
arrested for not paying
her fare.
E a Vaca não se incomoda quando um carro está vindo.
A vaca atravessa a estrada com toda sua calma porque sabe que pagou sua parte da tarifa.
And Cow is not
bothered when a car is
coming. Cow takes her
time crossing the road
because she knows she
paid her fare in full.
